Water from a natural hot springs flows into this man-made lava rock pool. It is not only at the seashore, but sea water from large waves that come to shore, flow into the front of the pool and mix with the natural hot springs water. This is one of the most unique and special hydrotherapy sites in a natural setting. It is a state park and about 5 miles east from Green Beach Photo
Black Beach on the east side of the island, where you see water flowing back to the ocean. This stream is where the water from the waterfall below flows into and return to the ocean Photo
A beautiful tropical waterfall a few miles inland from Black Beach. The waterfall is a natural expression of a soft, warm and gentle tropical waterfall. Photo from a distance Photo Photos from the top and bottom of the waterfall Photo Photo
Photo I took when being in the open ocean just off the west side of the Big Island. There were several pods of dolphins and the photo was taken using a disposable underwater camera. It is a wonderful experience to be a visitor to their world, rather than seeing them in man-made setting. Photo
